Now only one day is left for the consecration of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. All preparations regarding this have reached the final stage in Ayodhya. The whole country has become Rammay. There is echo of ‘Ram Aayenge’ everywhere. The entire city is decorated with flowers. Apart from the Ram temple, 500 volunteers at 35 places across the city are decorating with flowers and other things for the celebrations. 14 couples from across the country have been made hosts for the consecration ceremony. Meanwhile, a large number of devotees have also come from Nepal. He expressed happiness at getting the opportunity to witness the consecration ceremony. Guests invited from across the country and the world have also started arriving. Along with Ayodhya, the entire country has now become Rammay. Sunder Kand and recitation of Shri Ram Charit Manas are being organized in different parts of the country from the night of Sunday i.e. 21st January.
A grand Ram temple is being constructed in Ayodhya. The height of each floor in the three-storey Ram temple will be 20 feet. There will be 160 pillars on its ground floor, while there will be a total of 392 pillars in the Ram temple. Apart from this, there will also be a total of 44 grand and big doors in the Ram temple. There will be a sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor of the temple. In this, the child form of Lord Shri Ram will be seen. There will be the court of Lord Ram on the first floor of the temple. Special events will be organized on the second floor of the temple. Apart from the Ram temple, there will also be four more grand temples at its four corners.
Why was January 22 chosen as the day for consecration?
Lord Ram was born to Kaushalya and Dasharatha in Ayodhya at the confluence of Abhijeet Muhurta, Mrigashirsha Nakshatra, Amrit Siddhi Yoga and Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga. All these auspicious events will come together again on 22 January 2024. On the day of Pran Pratishtha, which has come after 41 years there is Hari i.e. Vishnu Muhurta,. Apart from this, there will be Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Amrit Siddhi Yoga throughout the day from sunrise.
Who made the idol of Ram lala?
The idol of Ram lala has been made by the famous sculptor of Karnataka, Arun Yogiraj. He is the son of famous sculptor Yogiraj Shilpi. Arun Yogiraj comes from a family of Mysore palace craftsmen. Arun Yogiraj father has also worked for Bhuvaneshwari and Gayatri temples. Yogiraj is also very active on social media. He has studied till MBA. He also worked in a company after studies. Earlier, he has also created a 14.5 feet white marble statue of Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar, white marble statue of Maharaja Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar-IV and Swami Ramakrishna Paramahansa in Mysore.
